GRC 2026

Now over 25 years old, the Grassroots Radio Conference (GRC) provides an intensive three days focused on the nuts and bolts of station development. Workshops and discussions will focus on the many aspects of Station Management including Program Syndication, Cultural Preservation, Technical Updates, Emergency Response, Fundraising, and more. And, in addition to beach activities, there will celebrations of local art, music, and culture. This year, the GRC community will be celebrating the launch of WPNX-LP a new station emerging from the 309 Punk Project that is dedicated to amplifying diverse voices in an area where it is needed the most.
Please join all your radio friends @ host station WPNX Pensacola this Sept. 24-27 to learn from experts like Ken Freedman, General Manager of WFMU; Pete Tridish, Founder of the Prometheus Radio Project; Jim Ellinger, Radio Renegade at Austin Airwaves; and Ursula Ruedenberg, Air Traffic Controller at the Pacifica Radio Network.
