Join us on Sunday, October 12 at 9am at Sycamore Grove Park for a hike into the upper property to see the cattle grazing pilot program that began this spring.
LARPD staff and grazing experts will share how cattle help manage vegetation, support healthy ecosystems, and our team's plan to mitigate any trail impact caused by the cows.
You'll also learn practical tips for safely hiking on trails shared with grazing animals. Come curious, and leave with a better understanding of how grazing benefits the park—and your outdoor experience.
Hike will be roughly 3.25 miles round trip, moderate difficulty up and downhill. Register for FREE.
