Gravestone Cleaning Workshop

Class is limited to 20 students. Each participant will receive hands on instruction during the two-hour workshop, printed instructions, and a cleaning kit which you can leave or keep. After completing the workshop, you will receive an ID card which will permit you to clean gravestones in the future. Details about future gravestone cleaning will be discussed at the workshop. No experience necessary.
As with the gravestones in many older cemeteries, the monuments are deteriorating. Some require extensive and expensive restoration, but many gravestones would benefit from careful, specialized cleaning. Join our crew of trained grave cleaning volunteers to work on this important project. The intent is not to make a grave marker look "new," but rather keep it from deteriorating and preventing further damage. Class fee covers the cleaning kit fee and a donation to Easton Cemetery.
Pre-registration is required. Information and details in the event link below.
