Spring Gravelanche began in 2017 as a rain, shine (or flurries) gravel group ride to conquer the shoulder season. Now it's the day that kicks off the season in our hearts. Awwww...... <3 For more details and digital waiver link:

WHAT: Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12 to kick off your season on two wheels. With at least three individual riding groups - from "blow your hair back" to "we chatted the whole way" - we'll be riding all over the county during one of Boulder's largest free gravel events.
COST: This is a free event that welcomes riders of all abilities.
WHO: If you own a bike you're comfortable riding on mixed terrain, this event is for you, whether it is your very first group gravel ride, or something you do on a weekly basis. Please check the details below for the average pace of each group. Rides are free, open to the public, and organized by Sports Garage Cycling.
BIKES: @ParleeCycles will be with us! The new Parlee Taos is in our in-house demo fleet. All gravel demos can be reserved for Gravelanche. Call the shop at 303.473.0033.
DETAILS: As always, we'll kick things off by opening the shop's doors with coffee and donuts at 9:00am.
COFFEE: We're super excited to have Alex Maloof vending mochas and other caffeinated deliciousness from Cafe Alejandro - look for his purple coffee truck starting at 9:00 am! Proper coffee social hour before we ride at 10. Follow Alex @cafealenjandrocoffeetruck on Instagram.
Three group rides roll out at 10:00am:
| “A” Ride: Spirited and challenging – longer and faster, but not a bike race. At least two regroup points. ~ 3+ hours.
ROUTES WILL BE POSTED 4/5/25
| “B” Ride: Tempo and solid – shorter than the “A” ride, but not for slouching. At least two regroup points. ~ 2.5+ hours. Often splits into two pace groups.
ROUTES WILL BE POSTED 4/5/25
| “C” Ride: Casual and consistent – less climbing than the A or B routes. Beginner friendly ride at 13-14 mph. A no-drop ride. ~ 1.5+ hours
ROUTES WILL BE POSTED 4/5/25
Call the shop at 303-473-0033 for more details. See you at the huts!
