Get ready for another amazing night of music featuring some of Vancouvers best at 2nd Floor Gastown. June 5th we have none other than Gravel-Aires & Atlin Morgan gracing our stage!The Gravel-Aires are a Vancouver-based acoustic duo playing original roots, Americana, country, and blues music. Formed in 2016, the band features Mark Branscombe on guitar and harmonica, and Michael Mahoney on guitar, dobro, and mandolin.
They released their third full-length album, Westerly, in 2024. Their 2021 album, Headlights in the Rear View Mirror, received international airplay in Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia. The Vancouver Sun described the album as having “a Blue Rodeo feel,” blending country, roots, and blues influences. Their debut album, National Avenue, was released in 2018.
Mark Branscombe has been active in Vancouver’s music scene since 1978, performing with blues-rock band Mud Bay and sharing stages with artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, James Cotton, and Jim Byrnes. Michael Mahoney brings influences from bluegrass, outlaw country, blues, rock, reggae, and Americana.

The 2nd Floor Gastown offers Live Music on Thursdays - Sundays, open during Dinner Service from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Guests may seat for both sets depending on availability and manager discretion.

2nd - 8:30pm - 9:45pm
