Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that promotes well-being. The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words – Rei and Ki and is loosely translated to mean ‘life force energy guided by Source’.

Grateful Reiki Level 1 is a grounded, heart-centered introduction to Reiki and personal energy awareness. This training is designed to help you understand your own energy first — how to care for it, clear it, and work with it — before offering Reiki to others.

Through gentle teaching, hands-on practice, and a sacred attunement ceremony, you’ll be invited to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the natural healing intelligence already within you.

This is not about perfection or performance.It’s about presence.

Course Description

In this Level 1 training you will:

• Learn the history and principles of Reiki
• Receive your Level 1 Reiki attunement
• Understand the chakra system and energy body
• Practice grounding and energy clearing techniques
• Learn Reiki hand positions for self-healing and loved ones
• Explore boundaries and ethical energy work
• Develop a simple daily Reiki practice

You will leave feeling steady, connected, and confident in caring for your own energy.

5hrs – Total time in hours including breaks

Preregistration is required. A minimum of 4 students is required for this class, if the minimum is not met, the class will be rescheduled for another date and time. Class fees are non-refundable. Fee can be transferred to a different date if communicated at least 2 weeks in advance and if minimum class size is met. Otherwise, no refunds, transfers or credits are allowed. You must be present for the entire class to receive your certificate. ​
