Bring classic Grateful Dead songs to life on acoustic guitar in this special workshop with Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers and Jefferson Hamer of Dead to the Core.
You’ll learn how to play the chords and create powerful grooves in songs like “Casey Jones,” “Eyes of the World,” and “Brown Eyed Women,” plus add cool embellishments and riffs inspired by the Dead’s performances.

Instructor Bio:
Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers is founding editor of Acoustic Guitar magazine and a grand prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He is the author of a best-selling Homespun video series teaching Grateful Dead songs for acoustic guitar, as well as Beyond Strumming and many other books/videos for musicians.

Jefferson Hamer is an internationally touring guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Brooklyn. He has performed and toured with Anaïs Mitchell (as co-creator of Child Ballads, winner of a BBC2 Folk Award), Sarah Jarosz (as guitarist and harmony singer on the Grammy-nominated Blue Heron Suite), Session Americana, and the traditional folk duo the Murphy Beds.
