GOALS:

DAY ONE -

1). To motivate participants to develop a grant writer or grant leadership team in their district.

2). To gain knowledge about grant opportunities available to school districts SPECIFICALLY INCLUDING Easy Grants, Foundation Grants, State Grants, Federal Grants, and Grants for After-School, Literacy, Science, STEM, Math, Technology, Health, Physical Activity, Safety, Art, Music, Donation Requests/Magic Letters AND MANY MORE EASY GRANTS FOR SCHOOLS.

3). To gain a basic overview of grant writing and provide information to introduce grant opportunities to staff through professional development opportunities.

4). To eliminate concerns about the difficulty of grants & follow up reports.

5). To gain data resources and utilize the information to create a school profile for grant applications.

6). To better utilize academic scores and data for grant applications.

7). To learn how to write grants and review grants for income.

DAY TWO -

1). To experience sessions from other Alabama grant writers who have written funded grants

2). To learn how to utilze the new grant networking forum to connect with other school grant writers.

DAY THREE -

1). To apply what you learned during day one.

2). To send participants back to their school waving their own magic wand by giving them the tools they need to encourage district staff to begin writing grants to secure funding for their district.
