A 3-hour, beginner-friendly session designed for individuals and teams from nonprofits, local governments, schools and community organizations who are new to grant writing or want to strengthen their skills. Participants will learn about common grant funding challenges, project planning, finding funding sources and how to write clearly and persuasively. Class limited to 60 people.

During this two-hour workshop, participants will review how data enter into the grant process, discuss concepts and measures of common socioeconomic and demographic indicators, review sources for commonly used data, and take a โdeeper diveโ into two or three especially useful sites with hands-on practice Participants need to bring a lap-top with wi-fi capability. Class limited to 30 people.

Date: March 3 and 5, 9 am to noon
Cost: $100
A 6-hour advanced workshop offered over two half-days, for participants ready to take their grant skills to the next level with an active project idea or prior grant experience. Boot Camp covers proposal components in greater depth and provides hands-on coaching throughout the process. Participants will learn how to draft an impactful executive summary, create measurable goals and objectives, build a logic model for program planning, and develop an evaluation plan that aligns with objectives. Class limited to 30 people.
