Join Grant / Flaherty / McGuire on the last stop of their tour as they meld the American Primitive fingerpicking vernacular with old time trad from Watauga county’s Grayson McGuire, expat Liam Grant, and Carrboro, NC's Devon Flaherty, on the road together in full trio formation. Fiddle tunes, served up nice and nasty delivered to you with that razor cut lap steel and that sweet, sweet rolling over pour of Flaherty’s banjo and baritone chops. Rhythm to get your boots shaking and feet up off the ground. Barn burners and full band yelps - for those looking for capital-A American music in the 21st century.

The Peel is an instrumental trio consisting of Lucy Schwallie (fiddle), Adam Fuller (banjo), and David Colagiovanni (guitar.) Purposeful and lively, yet fluctuating like a natural phenomenon, their music combines elements of chamber, drone, American primitive, experimental, old-time, and folk music from the world over. The trio infuse their compositions with warmth and clarity, playfulness, and dashes of boldness. Their music commingles tradition and modernity, recalling old friends’ swirls of words feeding a jubilant and overdue catch-up. Harmony and dissonance strike up a dance that is meticulous, delicate, and mesmerizing.
For two decades now, the duo of Weedghost has combined acoustic instrumentation with layers of electronic noise to channel the droning gospel from the depths of the hills themselves. Lush beds of drone loops intermingle with glacial shards to create a blissed out ambient wash as old as time itself.
Sure to be an night of new and old traditions pushed to it's drone limits.
