Join acclaimed author, editor, and publishing leader Grant Faulkner for an inspiring evening exploring how love can transform both the stories we tell and the way we write them. Drawing on the work of James Baldwin, bell hooks, Mary Oliver, Edwidge Danticat, and Carvell Wallace, Grant will examine love as an act of attention, courage, compassion, and connection, revealing how it can deepen character, enrich storytelling, and create a more meaningful writing practice.

Following the lecture, audience members are invited to meet Grant during a book signing. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of Sausalito Books by the Bay, and Grant will be pleased to sign copies after the event.
