This exceptional venue promises to offer an event HQ like no other you have ever encountered with hot showers, changing facilities and food that is unrivalled? Then you need to enter this sportive!
​We are delighted to return to this event yet again and with stunning routes, delicious hot food, brilliant medals and a mini festival feel with cake stalls, massages, inflatables and more ready for you in return this really is a sportive with a difference.
We offer participants the opportunity to choose from 3 picturesque cycle routes that cater for all abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to enjoy a leisurely ride or a seasoned cyclist seeking a more challenging experience, this event has something for everyone. Join us for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and personal achievements. Lace up your cycling shoes and be prepared to embark on an unforgettable journey through breathtaking landscapes of Lincolnshire.
In order to cater for all cyclists (including families) we have 3 options to choose from:
The Short (20 Miles)
This route will be ideal for the beginner cyclist or families who want a route to complete together. Heading out of the stunning village, riders will pass through Billingborough and towards Horbling before taking the scenic west bound journey. Carefully selected, this route is on quite rolling country roads with minimal traffic to ensure riders of all abilities can feel safe and enjoy the Sportive.

Minimum rider age is 10 years old, any entrant under the age of 18 (eighteen) years on the day of the event must be accompanied by a nominated adult at all times during the event.

The Medium (55 Miles)
This route is aimed at the more dedicated cyclist or those of you who want to test yourself. With over 2000ft of elevation this will definitely quash the myth that Lincolnshire is flat. Again heading out in a westerly direction riders will skirt south of Grantham before heading down towards the picturesque county border with Rutland. This route will have an aid station at around 30 miles before cyclists head back through the stunning towns of Castle Bytham, Swayfield and Grimsthorpe to name a few.
As with all our routes they are ridden in an anticlockwise direction to minimise turning across traffic and we have tried to avoid as many busy, major roads as possible to ensure the best possible riding experience.

The Long (87 Miles)
Are you up for the Trident challenge? This option is not for the faint hearted. 86.9 miles. 4134 ft of elevation. Steepest climb 11%. The course is ready are you?
Aimed at the keen cyclists, this Long course should have a little something for everyone. As with the Medium route, riders will get to visit the aid station at 30 miles and then again at 61 miles. Crossing through three counties and multiple districts riders will be treated to some amazing views, challenging climbs, fast descents, twists and turns etc. This really will offer every rider a complete experience.

This event will be fully signposted route and parking is included within entry. However we strongly encourage all participants to download the route from our website in case any signs are tampered with. Furthermore, we promote the use of ‘What Three Words’ app which significantly improves the ability to locate riders in case of emergency.
Entrants will receive a drink, a hot meal (selection made upon entry) and a finishers medal.
