University Settlement will host the 85th Annual Grange Festival at Grange Park on August 7 from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, welcoming over 4,500 attendees for an all-free, family-friendly celebration of culture and community.
The event features live music and dance from diverse local artists, including performances by University Settlement’s Music and Arts School and Seniors Programs.
More than 25 Toronto community organizations will offer interactive exhibits, while visitors can enjoy games, recreational activities, and complimentary food such as hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, and cotton candy.
Supported by IFDS, Kiwanis Club of Casa Loma, and ecobee by Generac, the festival continues a tradition dating back to the early 1900s.
Now in its 85th year, it reflects Toronto’s diversity and University Settlement’s commitment to inclusion, connection, and community well being. It remains a beloved annual gathering for all ages.
Founded in 1910, University Settlement is Toronto’s oldest settlement organization, a multi-service agency offering a wide range of services including Licensed Day Care, Sports & Recreation, Children’s programs, After-school and Camps, Language & Settlement, Senior Programs and Social Services, Music and Arts Programs.
Each year, University Settlement serves more than 12000 children, youth, adults, and seniors through programs that foster well-being, inclusion, and community connection. Its three locations across downtown Toronto and North York are strategically located to serve its diverse and multi-generational communities.
