The Salvation Army Has Exciting News!On July 18th, The Salvation Army of Fort Smith, AR will be hosting a drop-in reception at 504 North D Street in downtown Fort Smith from 11:00am-1:00pm. The event will be an open house to allow the public to tour the newly renovated family shelter. The family shelter will be able to accomodate five local families experiencing homelessness.
During the drop-in, The Salvation Army will be accepting donations of the following:
*Travel-sized hygiene items (shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste, etc.)
*White towels
*White washcloths
*White twin (fitted & flat) sheets
*White queen (fitted & flat) sheets
The reception will end with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce at 1:00pm.
