Excitement is mounting as we prepare for the inaugural concert on the grand piano the Roseland Music Society has acquired by appeal to its members and the public. Yulia Chaplina, the Russian born pianist who wowed the society last June with her recital will return to give a benefit concert in aid of the "Piano for Cornwall for all to Enjoy". Her programme will include Tchaikovsky's "The Seasons", the Chopin "Raindrop" Prelude and the Piano Sonata k. by Mozart which includes the Rondo alla Turca. All donors to the Piano Circle as well as RMS members are invited to book tickets early for what will be a very popular concert. If you wish to "adopt a key" by donating to the new Grand Piano fund please look at our website www.roselandmusicsociety.co.uk and follow the links to the donation site. There are still a few of the "88" keys left to be "adopted". All donations of £100+ will be able to "name" a key for themselves of a loved one or friend. Hurry there are only a few keys left.
Doors open at 1845 and the bar will be open and there will be nibbles too for celebration. Donors and attenders can meet the performer after the recital.
