🌙✨ You’re Invited to the Grand Opening of Sonder & Selene ✨🌙
On October 4th from 12–9 PM, Sonder & Selene will officially open its doors in Williamsport, and I would love for you to be there for the beginning.
Sonder & Selene is a little third space built around curiosity, connection, creativity, and community. A place to make something, discover something new, meet someone, bring a friend, read a book, play a game, or simply find a cozy corner and stay awhile.
There’s no membership, no purchase required, and no particular way you need to belong here.
Just come as you are. 💛
And because every adventure deserves a little keepsake, we’ll be giving out Sonder & Selene Passports at the door. Explore the space, create something, set an intention, add your piece to our community art installation, and collect your stamps along the way.
🌙 The first 20 people to complete their passports will receive a special grand opening prize!
There’s another reason this particular day means so much to me.
October 4th was my brother Raymond’s birthday. 🤍
Raymond was one of those rare people who made the world feel a little softer just by being in it. He loved people wholeheartedly. He would give his last dollar to a stranger, or the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He was a beautiful, gentle soul who was taken from us far too soon.
And I think he would have loved a place like Sonder & Selene.
A place where people can walk through the door without needing to prove anything. Where strangers can become friends, creativity can bring people together, and there is always room for one more person at the table.
Raymond was a big inspiration for this place, and opening on his birthday feels like a way of carrying a little piece of him forward with me.
So when those doors open, I’ll be thinking of him. And I’ll be thinking about the kind of place he would have wanted to find in the world.
A place where everyone is welcome. A place where you can stay awhile. A place where there is always room for one more.
So come celebrate with me. 🌙
