After school rides under desert skies.The Little Bellas Grand Junction Weekly Program invites girls ages 7 to 13 to spend their Wednesday evenings riding trails, playing games, and building confidence on bikes. Meeting at Wingate Elementary School, this Play & Explore program welcomes riders of all abilities and is designed to help girls enjoy being active outdoors in a fun, supportive environment.
Each session begins with a ride from Wingate Elementary to the nearby Water Tower Trails, a local network known for its winding singletrack, flowing sections, and playful desert terrain. Along the way, girls will participate in games, skill building activities, and group rides that make every session engaging and exciting.
Girls ride alongside our team of Mentors (we mentor, we don’t coach) and progress through mountain bike skills in a positive, non competitive environment. Healthy challenges are introduced through play and exploration, helping riders build confidence, friendships, and a lasting love for riding.
