Grand Commands and Colors day

Roll the Dice, Issue the Commands: Commands & Colors Open Play
Whether you are an experienced general or completely new to tactical wargaming, join us for a dedicated session celebrating Richard Borg’s iconic Commands & Colors system!
We already have hosts lined up running several iterations of the game, and we’re actively looking for more commanders to join the front line as well as additional hosts willing to bring and host their favourite sets!
What We Have Running
Our event features multiple historical and thematic theatres using the card-driven Commands & Colors engine, including:
Ancients
Napoleonic Wars
Battlecry ACW
Jacobite Rebellion
Great War
Samurai
Memoir 44
How to Get Involved
1. Join as a Player
All skill levels welcome! Every hosted table will include full rules teaching—no prior experience needed.
Jump between open tables, try a time period you’ve never played before, or test your tactical wits against seasoned veterans.
2. Host a Game / Run a Table
Got a set sitting on your shelf that needs table time? Bring it along!
We’re looking for players to run scenario matches, demonstrate expansion modules, or guide new players through introductory games.
Let us know in advance what version you plan to bring so we can allocate board space!
Cost £8 payable on the day but do let us know in advance if you want to come.
