Brought to you by The City of Granbury, Visit Granbury, Historic Granbury Merchants Association and The Hood County News, the Country Christmas Petting Farm will be Open every weekend from November 29 through December 22, 2024.
Fridays 4-8pm, Saturdays 12n-8pm, Sundays 12n-6pm. Cost is $5.00 Admission. Feed and Merchandise including Children’s books are available for purchase.
Visit Granbury is thrilled to announce the addition of a New Country Christmas Petting Farm, Opening Friday, Nov. 29, in conjunction with the Night of Lights Christmas Parade and continuing every weekend through December 22 at Granbury Square Plaza!
This event will take place off the Historic Square Granbury Square under the covered pavilion at the Granbury Square Plaza and offer visitors and our community an a new, exciting family fun Holiday Experience. A very different kind of petting farm, where there are absolutely no barriers once inside the farm. All the animals run freely with the public in the space, and the public loves visitors love it! Each one of the friendly animals is hand-raised Great American Lone Star Ranch in Stephenville, Texas.
The Christmas Petting Farm contains a wide variety of animals and will include Llamas, Alpacas, Fallow Deer, Bennetts Wallabies, African Pygmy Goats, assorted exotic and domestic goats and sheep, Miniature Zebu Cattle, Vietnamese Potbellied Pigs, Bantam Chickens, miniature Sicilian Donkeys, and baby animals born all year long. (Animals may vary during different days).
