Info: Come with tickets for seating or purchase tickets on arrival. The host will introduce his self and jump right into what we are doing today. Before giving out supplies class will go over do’s and don’t for better experience and adjust us to our new mediums.

Info: We will start with the understanding of spray paint basics. Pressure and distance. Working our way into being legible in writing and drawing. From posture to body motion with spray paint we will be drawing shapes and playing games like tic-tac-toe. The first assignment will be creating a cultural mask using shapes and patterns to better understand the art elements we use in graffiti. Size, symmetry, and color scheme are just a few elements you will notice when painting. This opens us up for bigger projects like writing tags and layering for more complex artworks and murals.

Info: Art students will explore their own art ideas and create new pieces from their experiences. The art teacher will turn into your very own art assistant helping in anyway needed.
