GRADUATION: Short Film Private Screening
About this Event
Join us for the Screening of GRADUATION!
Set against the backdrop of an upper-middle-class Hong Kong household, Graduation is a compelling 2026 drama short and the directorial debut of Nayon Lee and Alicia Tang.
The film explores the intricate, often-invisible labor of domestic helpers through the lens of a family whose life is thrown into sudden disruption by the unexpected death of their helper during the exact week of their son’s graduation.
Graduation is premiering at New York Shorts before traveling to Los Angeles and Reading. Before the film takes off, we invite you to join us for an intimate friends & family screening.
Screening & Q&A: The screening will be followed by an exclusive talk-back session and Q&A with co-directors and producer Nayon Lee, Alicia Tang and Caitlyn Tang.
