Gracent Pediatric Therapy Denton - Sensory-Friendly Open House
About this Event
We opened our Denton center this spring, and we would like to meet the families around us.
Join us Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM to 1 PM for a free open house. Play in the therapy gym our kids use every day, look around the center, and meet the people who work here. Drop in any time between 10 and 1 and stay as long as you like.
The morning includes:
- The therapy gym, open the whole time
- Sensory play stations
- Music, balloons, and snacks
- Photos
- A raffle
Our therapists will be here all morning. If you have questions about talking, playing, big feelings, or getting ready for school, this is an easy place to ask them. Bring the whole family and come whenever the morning works for you.
This is a sensory-friendly event
Sensory-friendly means the morning is set up so a child who finds busy rooms hard can have a good time, and so can everyone else. Here, that looks like:
- A quiet room open the whole time, for anyone who wants a break
- Music and lights kept low
- Every activity optional. Join in or watch from the side, whichever your child prefers
- Staff who work with kids of every sensory profile every day, and who will follow your child's lead
