May 26-29 is our annual Grace Camp: Mission Madness Week! During that week, we work with all five of the agencies we work with through the year, plus we engage in a number of additional Mission Madness activities including the assembly of Good Samaritan bags and Random Acts of Kindness and Mission Madness Workshop crafting. It's SO fun! Young people in need of community service hours can count on me to sign community service sheets for time worked. All local high schools accept A Place of Grace service. Minors must be accompanied by caregiver adults. Schedule:
Tuesday, May 26: Community Hope Center, Good Samaritan Bag Prep, Mission Madness Workshop
Wednesday, May 27: Operation Blessing, Mission Madness Workshop, Boomwhacker Choir is optional in the evening
Thursday, May 28th: Riverbend Family Ministries, Hoyleton Youth & Family Services, Mission Madness Workshop
Friday, May 29th: Uni-Pres Kindercottage, Random Acts of Kindness, Closing Worship
Home base for the week is LoveJoy United Presbyterian Church, 2550 Rock Hill Road, Wood River, IL. Meet there at 8 each morning. Go home at night and shower in your own shower, sleep in your own bed. Meet back at the church in the morning.
