GR Dam Pepsi Pools & picnic is a 12km circular route, starting at the Garden Route Dam. Difficulty is rated 4/10 but you have to be reasonably fit and able to cover the distance.?? List of items required for all our hikes:
? Suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack/hip pouch
? Hydration/bottled water
? Sunscreen
? Hat/head gear
? Suitable non-slip shoes
? Snacks
? Lightweight windproof jacket
? Fleece/midlayer depending the weather
? Your own emergency items, such as bandage, small petroleum jelly, blister plasters, etc
✨ Optional items:
Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, beanie, buffs, sunglasses.
♡ Meet close to the dam: Take the no-name gravel road towards the Garden Route Dam, close to the corners of Arthur Bleksley and Stander Streets, Eden, George. Turn into the gravel road and follow the road, pass te security kiosk for a few hundred meters and find a parking in a shady area as soon as you can see the dam.

♡ Hike starts at 8h00.
♡ We will stop at the Pepsi Pools for our picnic for half an hour or so, and then head back to our vehicles.
