Lace up your sneakers and come out to the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail on Sunday, August 23, 2026, for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter Rescue Run. 🏃♀️
Whether you are hitting the pavement for the 5K, taking on the 10K, or enjoying the 2-mile fun walk, your participation directly supports the essential work of providing food, medical care, and shelter for local animals.
📍 Registration opens at 7:30 AM at the Olive Street Pavilion, with the main events kicking off at 9:00 AM.
📍 Entry fees are $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $30 for the fun walk.
Be sure to register by August 16th to lock in your free event T-shirt. 👚
🐶Dogs are welcome to join the fun, provided they remain on a leash and you are mindful of your fellow participants.
