Volunteering Day Plan

Join us for a day of light farming activities, including harvesting, plant care, and general fieldwork🌿. The day will start with a short introduction and a tour of the fields, followed by activities at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings🫶

What to Bring

Comfortable shoes and clothes that can get a little dirty

Layers for the weather, including waterproofs or sun protection

Facilities

Compost loo

Drinking water tap on the field

Tea and coffee provided

About Cae Tan

Cae Tan is Swansea's first established and largest Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm. It provides fresh food for 135 households, offers training and mentoring, and works with a variety of groups and schools to raise awareness of sustainable farming. With two beautiful farms on the Gower, Cae Tan is an inspiring place for hands-on volunteering and learning sustainable food practices.
