Gourd Birdhouse Workshop with Joanne

Whether you'd like to provide a haven for local birds, or just want to craft a decorative piece, join us for a fun, hands-on workshop:
Crafting a Gourd Birdhouse in Five Easy Steps
1. choose your fully dried, hard-shelled gourd from selection provided
2. decide where you'd like the entrance hole (we'll drill this for you with a special tool)
3. explore your creative side (ideas provided) while sanding the already cleaned gourd
4. use acrylic paint and/or wood stain to decorate your gourd and create a one of a kind design
5. apply a waterproof sealer to ensure it lasts (we'll do this using Thompson's Water Seal spray)
Additional drainage and hanging holes can also be done.
