About this Event
The GothBats Nashville are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our FIRST EVER gothic tea party the afternoon of Sunday, April 6th from 1 - 5 PM at the Cook Day Use Area Shelter 1. Recreation Area off of Percy Priest Lake.
Caterers: The afternoon tea party will be catered by chef April Straughan and tea will be provided by Boil and Bubble.
Food and tea details: A ticket purchase includes food and tea party fares. The tea party will consist of 3 traditional courses of food items made by April to include sandwiches and desserts like pastries, cakes, and cookies. A selection of delicious loose leaf tea options by Boil and Bubble will be available to consume alongside the food items. A detailed food and tea menu will be provided at the event.
Food Restrictions: Our caterer is trained in food allergen awareness so all food items provided will be nut-free for those with allergies. Additionally, there will be vegan options available. Please do not bring any food/tea items from home.
Time: Food and tea will be served from 1 - 4 PM and there will be a post-tea party social time from 4 - 5 PM.
Capacity: Tea party event capacity is very limited so do not hesitate to purchase your ticket.
Attire: We encourage (not mandate) you to dress your elegant, gothic best - whatever that means to you - to come celebrate spring with us in style and set a classy tone for the party. Keep in mind the temperature the day-of the event and please dress appropriately!
Merch: Special GothBats “Time for Tea” coffee/tea mugs made by Laura Collins will be available for preorder before the day of the event, to be picked up at the tea party. GothBats merch including stickers, totes, and rings may all also be preordered and picked up the day of the event.
Age: This event is all-ages inclusive. Any adult or child that plans on partaking in the event festivities will need a ticket. Young children and babies are welcome but guardian required.
Location: This event will take place outdoors at a shady, covered pavilion at the Cook Day Use Area Shelter 1 recreation area off of Percy Priest Lake. Alcohol and pets are unfortunately prohibited at the recreation area. There are restrooms, a playground, and a swimming beach near the rec area available for free use. A $5.00 day use fee (card only) will be charged upon entry to each vehicle so we encourage carpooling. We recommend you bring a hand-fan and water.
