Gosport Ambassador Meeting - 14th July 2026
We look foward to seeing you if you are able to attend. We have networking and arrivals from 6pm - 6.30pm with the meeting proper starting at 6.30pm. Our agenda for the evening is as follows:
- Arrivals and networking
- 15 minute tour of the museum please feel free to move about the museum and be ready to be back in the meeting area for 6.45pm.
- Introductory presentation from Diving Museum – Wendy Redman, Diving Museum
- Gosport and Royan Twinning – moving forward on this 60 year relationship – Deputy Mayor Cllr Kevin Casey
- Port of Poems project and an update on TEDx talks - Annelies James – 22Midnight
- Update on artists and artisans at the Carpenters Yard, Priddy’s Hard – Mark Goulding, Portsmouth Harbour Marine CIC/trustee PHQ (Portsmouth Historic Quarter)
- GBC Update and close – please leave promptly - unfortunately there will be no further time to explore the museum at this stage
You should be aware of the following points:
1. Seating is limited to 30 people with 15 standing.
2. Much of the museum is accessible but if you require assistance please make yourself known to a member of the Diving Museum staff – or let us know in advance.
3. Parking is available at No. 2 Battery West Car Park where parking charges are in force until 7pm.
4. Toilet facilities are available in the disabled public convenience located outside the museum to the right – please ask for a key from the Diving Museum if you need to use the facilities.
5. Refreshments will be available.
