Grace and peace, family. We are honored to share the Order of Service for this year’s celebration as we gather in the spirit of unity, remembrance, worship, and community.
CALL TO REMEMBRANCE & REFLECTION
• Special video presentation featuring Carter G. Woodson
We pause in recognition of Dr. Woodson, known as the “Father of Black History,” whose life’s work reminds us that our history is worthy, powerful, and essential. His legacy continues to call us to remember, document, and honor our story.
RECOGNITION OF SERVICE & LEGACY
• Early African American Educators of Jefferson County - Speaker to be announced.
We pause to give honor to those educators who labored faithfully in classrooms, communities, and churches, laying foundations that continue to bless generations.
PRAYER OF THE PEOPLE
