We are thrilled to host a GORUCK event in Ottawa!We will meet at Landsdowne Park southeast of the Aberdeen Pavilion on the Great Lawn.
What to Expect:
There are two events you can come to both or pick one.
GORUCK TAKEOVER WORKOUT @ 10:00 a.m.
- 1 Hour GORUCK Style Workout
- Scalable for all levels of fitness
- Get stronger one step and one rep at a time
GORUCK COMMUNITY 5K @ 11:15 a.m.
-Social Fitness
-Active Recovery Training
-Gets You Outside
- in the real world.
The GORUCK TAKEOVER Workout is a unique, full-body challenge that combines rucking with other strength exercises. It's perfect for all fitness levels and designed to build strength and endurance, while connecting you with a supportive community. Push your limits and have fun doing it!
WHAT TO BRING - REQUIRED
- A rucksack/backpack/weighted vest (Rucker recommended)
- Ruck Plate (or equivalent) in your rucksack = to your weight suggestion
- Men = 20 lb. Ruck Plate
- Women = 10 lb. Ruck Plate
- Kids = water,books/etc.
- Nalgene bottle recommended.
- Smiles
