Counter Canon is a weekly film and art community gathering, holding space for discussion of films, albums, and artworks by underrepresented and overlooked artists.

This week centers around the questions: How does the camera become a weapon? What happens when the black image is captured?

This session introduces the Counter Canon's first institutional partnership and in-person event at the Center for Art and Advocacy with a gallery walk led by Co-Director of Programs, Sienna Fekete.

The Center for Art and Advocacy was established in 2022 to serve as a direct path to sustainability and equity for artists directly impacted by the criminal legal system.
