Join the Institute for Regional Conservation and The City of Boca Raton to restore a portion of Gopher Tortoise Preserve! On Saturday, August 30th come volunteer with us for fun event where participants will install native plants in an area where invasive species were removed. This will allow us to enhance and restore the native biodiversity of the park.There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help repair the essential biodiversity of the Gopher Tortoise Preserve Park. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restiration can be!
Please be sure to RSVP if you want to sign up to participate in this event.
We recommend that you wear comfortable outdoor clothing, you will be in full sun. Wear a hat and sunscreen! Bring a reusable water bottle and anything else that makes your comfortable in the outdoors! We will provide the rest.
