The exhibition explores the causes and triggers of goose bumps from different angles—through tactile, visual, and mental stimulation of this bodily reaction.
Direct skin contact with the jewelry can be specifically used as an external stimulus by experi-menting with the choice and shape of the materials and certain wearing positions.
In this way, touch and sensations on the skin can trigger intense feelings such as excitement, stress, fear, disgust, or pleasure. Irrespective of this, such reactions can also be triggered by a purely visual or contextual stimulus.
