Goode Times Open Mic Featuring PoYo and Unka Mic!

On Saturday May 23rd we'll be having Open Mic for Comedians and Poets welcomed to Soul Goode location in Pearland, Tx. Showcase with Featured Poet PoYo and Comedian Unka Mic. Hosted by Poet /Comedian The Maniacal Menace Kyle Smith. This is not a censored mic. Each poet on open mic will be allowed to perform on Poem and each comedian will be allowed 3 minutes of stage time. Lite bites available to order. Bartender will be erving drinks as well. Guests attending to have one item minimum. Complimentary drink with each ticket purchase. Please come out and enjoy the show. DJ Necie Nee will be playing music throughout the night. Early arrival recommended for seating.

Poet snd Spoken Word artist PoYo writes from her lived experiences of motherhood, love, growth, and the quiet battles within herself. Her poetry is honest and unfiltered, capturing the moments where she is learning, unlearning, and finding a way back to herself. Every piece PoYo shares a reflection of who she is in that moment as soft, strong, and still becoming.

Comedian Unka Mic is striaght up old school with brash, witty, and dark humour. Hailing from the Houston area he continues to tour the local scene. He's been around the block and ready to spin the block on the stage in the name of Comedy.

Host Kyle Smith is a Comedic Poet that loves to engage the audience. He has traveled all througout Southern Region and blessed audiences with laughter and wit. He will be a witty host that folks will love.
