Goode Times Open Mic Featuring Emoetry Speaks and Julius Fogle!

On Saturday July 11th we'll be having Open Mic for Comedians and Poets welcomed to Soul Goode location in Pearland, Tx. Showcase with Featured Poet Emoetry and Comedian Julius Fogle! Hosted by Poet /Comedian The Maniacal Menace Kyle Smith. This is not a censored mic. Each poet on open mic will be allowed to perform on Poem and each comedian will be allowed 3 minutes of stage time. Lite bites available to order. BYOB and pay for mixers and cups. Guests attending to have one item minimum. Come out and enjoy the show. DJ Silky Blaq will be playing music throughout the night. Don't worry, he's fun! Early arrival recommended for seating.

Emoetry Speaks, has been writing and performing poetry for well over 30 years. She has also hosted a plethora of open mic & spoken word events throughout the City of Houston. Her sultry voice and spoken-word talent has been recorded collaborating with various R&B as well as national jazz recording artists. She is a published author and released her first album in 2025 which can be experienced on all streaming platforms. She is a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy Class of 2025, and her album was also in rotation on various online radio stations as well as The Vibe/KTSU 90.9 FM.

Julius has been a Stand-Up Comedian since 2016. Julius has a very unique style of story telling with a comedic twist. He calls this his “LL”treatment where he makes you laugh at and learn something at the same time. Comedian Julius Fogle III is a 20 year Army combat veteran who retired in 2010. Also a Former Boxing Champ IBC Super Middleweight Champ and Retired in 2014. Now he is a proud Author of his autobiography “The Last Round” .

Host Kyle Smith is The loud mouth, metaphysical, far from typical, delightfully charming, observational, story based, insightfully shocking, high paced energetic stylings of Kyle Smith, aka The Maniacal Menace Kyle Smith. New Orleanian born and raised. A 11yr comic, influenced by Dane Cook, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Louis Ck, Joe Rogan, Doug Stanhope just to name a few. Electrician by day and entertainer by night, blending his style of conedy and poetry together. He is consistently active in many fields of entertainment, including poetry and also honing his skills in acting, improvisation, and sketch comedy with the ever improving dynamite of a guy, the hilarious powerhouse himself the Maniacal Menace Kyle Smith
