Good Work: Creating Quality Jobs That Attract, Retain and Develop Talent
About this Event
Led by Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, Business in the Community’s Opening Doors campaign and Sheffield City Council’s Opportunity Sheffield, we’re bringing employers together for the third workshop in our Sheffield Employment & Skills Strategy series.
Through this series, we’ve been helping businesses explore practical good practice, understand where they can access support, and build a peer-to-peer network to learn from each other.
What will we explore?
This session will focus on Good Work and what it looks like in practice. We’ll hear directly from employers about what they are doing to:
✅ Retain and support their workforce
✅ Develop and progress employees
✅ Build more inclusive workplaces
✅ Use flexible working to meet both business and employee needs
Why attend?
This isn't a presentation about theory. It’s an opportunity to hear real examples from employers, share experiences and take away practical ideas you can use in your own organisation.
You’ll also have the chance to connect with other Sheffield businesses, share challenges and learn from what others are doing.
Whether you’re looking to improve recruitment, reduce staff turnover, support employee wellbeing or create better opportunities for progression, this session will give you practical ideas and connections to help.
