Good Work Camden Jobs & Skills Event 2026

This October, Good Work Camden will host our fifth annual Jobs & Skills Event, bringing residents, employers, community organisations and employment and skills partners together for another day dedicated to opportunity, connection and progression.

As we reach this milestone, we have taken the time to reflect on feedback from residents, employers and partners who have attended previous events. This year, we want to go beyond simply bringing people together in the same room. Our focus is on creating real connections between Camden residents, local employers and community organisations — helping conversations on the day develop into meaningful next steps.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet employers and organisations representing a broad range of industries — from health and social care to hospitality, retail and beyond.

Whether you're actively looking for work, thinking about changing careers, interested in an apprenticeship or simply want to understand what opportunities are available, the event is an opportunity to speak directly with employers and find out what they are looking for.

Our popular Jobs & Skills Event workshops will be back and running throughout the day, giving residents the opportunity to step away from the main exhibition and gain practical advice, insights and skills to support their employment journey.

This year, we're also introducing a dedicated networking area, creating more space for residents to have meaningful conversations with employers, employment institutions and other organisations supporting people into good work.

Use the space to ask questions, learn more about an organisation, explore different career pathways and build connections beyond that first conversation at an employer stand.

We want the Jobs & Skills Event to be as accessible and welcoming as possible. A dedicated Quiet Hour will provide a calmer environment for residents who may benefit from attending when the event is less busy.
