Good Shout is held at Here We Aren't, Godric Square every first Thursday of the month; £4 Entry, doors at 6.45pm, start at 7pm.

Spoken Word and Poetry open mic, first come, first served. 2 poems per poet, and priority is given to new performers and those who travel!

This month we are joined by Ben Macpherson!
Ben Macpherson's a writer and performer from Nottingham, his work spans Poetry, Theatre and comedy and his words have been on BBC Radio2, Radio4 extra and local radio. His work is very playful no matter the subject matter. His first book was published in 2023 by Big White Shed, with a second in 2024. He is the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe AntiSlam champion and one of the directors of Nottingham Poetry Festival.
