The Ninth Annual Good Samaritan Hospice Butterfly Release will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Dave Baker Shelter at North Boundary Park, 1171 N Boundary Rd., Cranberry Twp, PA 16066.You are invited to honor and celebrate the memory of your loved ones through this unique memorial event.
The event, which is open to the public, is free to attend, with butterflies to be released at $10 each.
Each attendee may purchase a maximum of two butterflies; those who wish to make an additional donation in memory of a loved one are welcome to do so. T-shirts will also be on sale for $15.
Seating is limited, so please bring your own chairs or blankets to the event. The event will also include musical performances, light refreshments and children’s activities.
Walk-ups are welcome, but pre-registration is highly encouraged by July 16 to guarantee a butterfly.
