The Good News Mountain Bike Race is a pre-season “Dirt Crit” race designed as a warmup for mountain bike race season. What’s a Dirt Crit MTB course you ask? Well it’s got a bit of everything except big climbs, longer than a short track course, shorter than a cross country course, and the fun of going all out on your MTB!Good News provides fun, close racing for the seasoned racer and, simultaneously, a positive, attainable, and welcoming experience for new racers on a short course that’s easily supported by coaches, teams, and families. All ages and skill levels are welcome with “Grom” elementary school, “678” middle school, high school, and adult age group categories offered.
