The day after the Last Super, Jesus was arrested and crucified by the Romans for his teachings. This day is traditionally known as Good Friday - not because the act of executing Jesus is good, but because the outcome is good for all of us who believe. Because of this sacrifice all of our sins have been forgiven and cleansed, allowing us to receive grace through faith and work to live a holy life out of love for God, not out of fear of retribution.Join us for this traditional service held in the sanctuary to recognize the pain and suffering of Jesus' crucifixion, while anticipating his resurrection on Easter morning.
