Everyone is warmly invited to come along, share your ideas, and connect with others who are passionate about creating a thriving good food movement in County Durham.
- You want to be part of creating a healthier, fairer and more sustainable food future for everyone
- You have ideas to share with others who are working to improve food
- Whether you grow, cook, sell or buy food, we all eat! Therefore, we all have a part to play in shaping a food system that nourishes people, place and planet.
We’ll be joined by speakers from a diverse range of organisations and initiatives working to make County Durham a place of Good Food. Hear first-hand, about our County’s recent achievements in food-related health, food waste, food growing, as well as the local food economy and procurement. We'll also be launching the Good Food Promise for hospitality and catering. A full line-up of speakers will be announced in the coming week so do keep an eye out.
