The course meets the required standards for ICH GCP Investigator site personnel training, identified by Transcelerate Biopharma to enable mutual recognition of GCP training among trial sponsors.

This interactive “GCP in Action” course looks at the practical aspects of GCP and how it is applied in your day to day work.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

• Describe the purpose of GCP
• Outline the significant milestones in the history of GCP development
• Review the respective responsibilities of Sponsors, Investigators and Ethics Committees in the context of GCP
• State the purpose of the EU Clinical Trial Regulation and Directives
• Outline the requirements of the UK statutory instruments highlighting changes as a result of the Regulation
• Describe the practical applications of GCP
