Come Celebrate the 38th Anniversary of Gonzo!! Art Studio with musical performances by Long Haired Friends of Jesus, a $10 paint and sip , art sale! And more! When Gonzo!! Art Studio first opened up in 1988 there was no internet, Dinosaurs 🦖 roamed Gratiot Ave with carburetors, and no computers to tell you where to go! People instinctively found their way to Gratiot and discovered Gonzo!! Art Studio! They said it wouldn't last a year, and they were right, it has lasted 38 years and counting! Gonzo!! has outlasted power houses of the likes of Sears, Kmart, Continental Lanes, Apollo Lanes, the Ritz, The Roseville Theater , Sacred Heart Church, and most importantly countless Mayors, and Council people who have tried in vain to close Gonzo!! Art Studio ! This tiny underdog art studio has survived only because the Good People of the Community supported it over all the other identities that you never would have thought would ever close!! That definitely deserves a night to celebrate! Free to attend, and enjoy the art, Music! Roseville has the best Art fans in the World, Shit, I've known that for 38 years!!
