Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Venezuela, some of my earliest memories are of sitting in the living room of my family home, listening to my father, Francisco, play music with friends. Those gatherings were filled with songs, laughter, friendship, and a deep love for music that shaped who I am today.
In this special concert, Gonzalo Teppa Tells Stories and Sings, I invite you to join me on a personal journey through the songs that have accompanied me throughout my life. Through music and storytelling, I will share memories of my childhood, my family, my homeland, and the experiences that inspired me to become a musician.
This evening is also a tribute to my father, Francisco, who was and will always be my greatest inspiration—not only in music, but in life. He taught me what it means to be a father, a son, a friend, and an artist. The values he embodied continue to guide me every day.
Together with dear friends and fellow musicians, I will celebrate the joy of making music with the people we love. It is a reminder of the power of music to bring us together, to tell our stories, and to keep alive the memories of those who have shaped us.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for allowing me to share my heart, my passion, and my love for Venezuela, for music, and for the people who have made my life meaningful.
