Please bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket; whatever you need to feel comfortable and warm for an hour. Some people even bring sleeping bags or hot water bottles (please fill at home.)
All you have to do is lie down on your yoga mat, close your eyes, relax and allow the vibrations of sound to wash over you. I will play Shamanic frame drum, gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, ocean drum, chimes and various percussion instruments. When we engage in sound relaxation, our brainwaves are slowed down, taking us into an altered state, similar to deep meditation. This is deeply relaxing and allows the body to return to homeostasis, where natural healing can take place. The added benefits are often better sleep, and a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Contraindications
It is not recommended that you attend sound relaxation if any of these apply;
- If you are in the first 3 months of pregnancy
- If you have epilepsy, seizures or an ‘unmanaged’ mental health condition (such as bi-polar, schizophrenia, or any form of complex trauma)
- Severe heart conditions
You may be more sensitive to Sound Therapy If you have metal plates, have had recent surgery, broken bones or other major physical injuries, have a pacemaker, or if you suffer from tinnitus. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any concerns or would like to discuss anything beforehand.
