HeART of the Gong is a collaboration of artists whose aim is to awaken the healing potential within each of us through sensation.
Listening to gongs can bring about spiritual, physical and emotional resolution. The sonic vibrations will sooth and stimulate the body which simultaneously calms the fight-or-flight sympathetic nervous system and allows your body to access the rest-and-restorative functions of your parasympathetic nervous system. This will help balance the autonomic nervous system which can alleviate anxiety, stress, digestion, sleep and irritability over time.
The beautiful melodies, positive ions and gentle vibrations emanating from the gongs can bring you an enjoyable meditative experience making way for a deep sense of relaxation and tranquility.
This event will be by donation.
Bring items like yoga mats/pads, pillows/bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, crystals whatever you may need for your comfort. Arrive early as we start the meditation on time. Parking is available in front of the build and an overflow lot on the north side.
