The live debut of Golems of the Red Planet! After six years of hard work hand-crafting our unique blend of Jewish 3rd-wave surf tunes with a string section, we are bringing it live!
The Golems take their repertoire from John Zorn's MASADA songbooks - a collection of 613 melodies composed in the modes of Ashkenazi Jewish music. We take these little ditties and transform them into surf tunes. We're proud to say the composer counts himself among our fans and is supportive of our little project. Hell, he's even given us homework!
