Akron Citywide Children's Gospel Choir & Band - Open Call & First Rehearsal

🎤✨ AKRON… THIS IS FOR OUR YOUNG VOICES! ✨🎤

The Citywide Children’s Gospel Choir & Band, presented by The Adventures of Ryan & Riley Children’s Programs, is officially forming—and we’re inviting children from across the community to be part of something powerful.

This exciting initiative is being launched through the leadership and board of The Adventures of Ryan & Riley Children’s Programs, a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering children through literacy, music, mentorship, and creative opportunities.

We’re honored to have Raymond Hinton serving as our Mass Choir Advisor & Mentor, bringing decades of choral leadership and community impact.

Making a special appearance, contemporary gospel recording artist Terry Balladier, an internationally touring artist, will join us to lead vocal exercises and share professional stage performance etiquette with our young singers.

This open call marks the beginning of a citywide movement where children can grow, learn, shine, and discover their voices through music, mentorship, and performance.

🎶 Children ages 5–18 are welcome.
(Parents or guardians should attend with their child.)
